The award-winning documentary Journey Towards Justice documents the experiences of faculty, staff, and students who participated in the inaugural trip that visited historical sites related to the civil rights movement in Birmingham, Selma, and Montgomery, Alabama. Participants experienced the trip as “life changing”. Following the film, there will be a panel discussion including the film co-directors and trip participants. We are pleased to announce that the first public showing of this documentary is financially supported by Rice University. Accordingly, there is no charge for attending this event.
