Stageworks Theatre is available for private parties, corporate meetings, and special events of all kinds. We offer the theatre, lobby and rehearsal hall, all under one roof with attached parking, just minutes from the heart of downtown Tampa.

RENTAL RATES

MAINSTAGE THEATRE

Basic 4 Hour Period – For-Profit: $450.00 Non-Profit: $350.00
Each Additional Hour – For-Profit: $100.00 Non-Profit: $75.00

PROVIDED : Theatre comes in “normal set up” Including:

• Use of two (2) dressing rooms designed for approximately 8-10 persons each.
• Standard black masking.
• Sound system with house speakers and 2 basic wired microphones.
• Sound system includes basic CD music playback.
• House lighting plot with focus and color.
• 99 fixed seats.
• Spacious lobby, restrooms and baby grand piano.
• Plus applicable Florida State Sales Tax.
• For the non-profit rate, current 501(c)(3) Letter of Determination must be attached to Contract.
• All rates as stated above include all electrical service and HVAC.

LOBBY

Basic 4 Hour Period – For-Profit: $250.00 Non-Profit: $200.00

REHEARSAL HALL

Basic 4 Hour Period – For-Profit: $150.00 Non-Profit: $120.00
Each Additional Hour – For-Profit: $50.00 Non-Profit: $40.00

• Cocktail tables and chairs.
• Plus applicable Florida State Sales Tax.
• For the non-profit rate, current 501(c)(3) Letter of Determination must be attached to Contract.
• All rates as stated above include all electrical service and HVAC.

NOTE: Other Theatre events may supersede availability of some of the above items.

STAGE LABOR

Theatre Technical Director $35.00 per hour
Four hour minimum, time and a half after 8 hours or any hour or part thereof past 11 pm)

Additional House Technician $13.00 per hour
Time and a half after 8 hours or any hour or part thereof past 11 pm)

NOTE: Only technicians provided and/or approved by the Theatre may operate the lighting console, sound console or rigging system. All technicians provided by renters must be approved by the Theatre Director.

*Under some circumstances use of the Studio Theatre may not require the Theatre Technical Director.

BOX OFFICE CHARGES

As of this writing, our box office is not equipped to handle advance sales for outside groups. The Theatre does have a secure Box Office facility on the first floor available for door sales on the day of show, and use of it is included in the rental fee.

• We do not provide ushers for your event.
• You must have your own box office personnel and ushers.
• House Managers are required and there is a $20 per hour charge.
• Bartenders are available for a $40 fee.

OTHER STAFF AS NEEDED

House Manager $20.00 per hour

Custodial $20.00 per hour
Use of confetti or snow may require additional mandatory clean-up charges.

Security/Off-Duty Police $32 per hour or prevailing rate
Can vary greatly due to demand especially during special events such as Gasparilla or Guavaween.
